In 2011 GRANTAVE Productions, Float Hybrid (John Gaeta) and I were contracted by BBDO New York to create an interactive digital poster for Autism Speaks Week. The poster featured a young girl with autism who always avoids eye contact with the viewer. People are able to view the subject from multiple angles and elevations by moving and tilting their bodies but are only able to make eye contact briefly before the girl looks away. The transitions between elevations and viewing angles were triggered by the Kinect sensor, and animated with interpolation software. I photographed the subject from multiple angles, designed and created the matrix of images, and produced the looping animations and interpolated transitions. Float Hybrid took these building blocks and assembled the interactive display.
This Digital poster was nominated for a 2011 Cannes Lion Award.
